Therapist Serving Sherborn, MA

Aurora Counseling Associates is a group psychotherapy practice at 20 N Main St in Natick. Sherborn sits just southwest of Natick, the two towns share a border, and Aurora has served MetroWest since 1998. We do not have an office in Sherborn; Sherborn residents see us in person at the nearby Natick office or by secure video from anywhere in Massachusetts.

How Sherborn residents reach our office

We are twelve licensed clinicians working with children (approximately ages 3 and up), teens, adults, couples, and families across anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, perinatal and postpartum care, couples therapy, family work, neurodivergence-affirming care, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

Sherborn is a smaller town with relatively few practices inside its own borders, so the Natick office is one of the closer group practices for many residents. Because Sherborn and Natick adjoin, the trip is short by MetroWest standards. The practice's evening hours until 9pm on weeknights and its Saturday appointments are meant to make a weekly session workable around commuting and family life.

Telehealth for Sherborn clients

In a town where in-town options are limited, telehealth widens what is available without adding a commute. Our Massachusetts-licensed clinicians meet by secure video, so a Sherborn resident can work with a clinician who fits the concern rather than the one who happens to be closest. Coverage also extends to clients in Vermont, Michigan, Florida, and Connecticut where the responsible clinician is licensed. See online and telehealth therapy for the details.

Who we work with

Aurora's twelve clinicians work with children (approximately ages 3 and up), teens, adults, couples, and families. We see clients for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, perinatal and postpartum care, couples therapy, family work, neurodivergence-affirming care, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and the full range of concerns covered across the practice.

Because the practice carries a broad team rather than a single specialty, a Sherborn family can usually find a fit for couples work, child and adolescent therapy, perinatal support, or individual work through life transitions without leaving the region. Schedule flexibility tends to matter most here, and we work to find a time that holds week to week.

If you are in crisis

Aurora is an outpatient practice and not a 24/7 crisis service. If you or someone you are with is in immediate danger, call 911. For mental health crisis support any time, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline). MetroWest residents can also reach the Advocates emergency line, the regional crisis services provider.
